Fleck-Controlled Water Softeners from Pure Water Products.
We offer three distinct lines of Fleck-controlled water softeners.
The Standard Series features the old faithful Fleck 5600 control valve.
The Premium Series uses the heavy duty Fleck 2510 control, plus the advanced Vortech mineral tank.
The Twin-Tank Series, definitely the most efficient and environmentally friendly softener style available, features the Fleck 9100 controller and twin Vortech mineral tanks.
All three styles are proven, heavy-duty performers that combine decades of experience and reliability with the latest in water softener technology.
Each of these softener styles is offered in several sizes and control-valve styles. Standard and Premium softeners come in Timer (Day Clock) models, Electro-Mechanical Meter style, or SXT Full-Electronic format. Twin softeners are offered as Electro-Mechanical Meters and SXT Full-Electronic meters.
The Premium and Twin units come with the advanced-design water and salt saving Vortech mineral tank as standard equipment. Vortech is also available as an option on most sizes of the Standard Series.
All three series come with appropriately sized durable brine tanks with Fleck 2310 brine safety shutoff as standard equipment.
An optional stainless steel bypass valve is available with all units.
Drain tubing and a standard softener funnel are provided with all softeners.
The softener comes with as much setup programming as the purchaser requests. In most cases, we can ship the unit with the control head ready to plug in and use. (This, of course, requires that you give us information about the hardness of your water and how the softener will be used).
Finally, we offer fine mesh resin for softeners that will be used to remove iron and/or manganese. We do not recommend fine mesh resin for standard city water installations.

Some Things to Consider When You Choose A Water Softener
First, in many areas there are excellent local full-service companies that you should consider purchasing from. Most modern water softeners are relatively trouble-free and fairly easy to install, but having a qualified local professional install and service your unit may well be worth some added expense. Buying a water softener isn’t like buying a toaster. No matter how efficient or well built it is, there will be some maintenance. The Water Quality Association’s dealer locator is a good place to look for a qualified professional in your area. If you choose to buy a softener and install it yourself (or hire an installer), the least expensive softener you can buy is probably from a local “big box” store. You’ll get an inexpensive softener but unfortunately you won’t find a lot of variety and you probably won’t get a lot of technical support. When you need a part, you’re usually in for a high price and a long wait. If you choose to buy a softener online, you’ll find a lot of variety and some excellent prices. You’ll get good support from some online sellers, none from others. Some stock parts, most don’t. If you search, you can probably find equipment that appears to be comparable to ours on other websites at a lower price. If you are comparing price and value, here are some considerations: We pay UPS Ground shipping. Most of our units use the advanced Vortech mineral tank. The tank costs us more but it saves salt and water for the entire life of the softener. Softeners that use the Vortech tank are still rare. That's because Vortech costs more and standard mineral tanks work fine. But Vortech works better, and we think it's worth spending a few more dollars for. Our premium units use the upgrade Fleck 2510 control. It is much better than it has to be for residential softeners. For challenging well water, the 2510 is recommended. We offer a twin- tank residential softener with dual Vortech tanks—truly the most efficient and effective softener style possible. Upon request, and we hope you’ll request it, we will custom program the control valve before shipping for the most efficient possible salt and water consumption settings. You can forget about salt settings, overrides, and brine line flow controls. Just tell us the hardness level of your water and the number of people who live in your home and we’ll ship the softener configured to your needs. (You'll need to tell us, too, if there is iron in the water. There normally isn't any in city water systems.) We offer phone assistance for picking the correct softener for your situation, plus phone support for installation and maintenance. |

Pure Water Products Top Grade Fleck 9100 Twin Tank Water Softeners

All you’ll need to buy are the incidental parts to connect to your home plumbing and some standard softener salt.
Twin softeners are the most water and salt efficient softeners made. They regenerate less frequently because no “reserve” capacity has to be calculated. They have the added advantage of performing the regeneration with softened water, assuring a cleaner and more complete regeneration. Twin softeners are especially useful for applications requiring long service cycles requiring an uninterrupted supply of soft water.
